S. schools o...This is so much like growing up in U. S. schools of the forties and fifties. Each year, from grade four straight through high school, we had a class on American History. Each year we studied The Pilgrims, The Revolution, The Civil War and then the year ended. Japanese Internment Camps? Didn't get to them. Teapot Dome? No time for that this year. Womens' Suffrage? Maybe next year. Slavery? Only as a "cause" of the Civil War, but really a distraction from the heroic and tragic Abe Lincoln and the vile and despicable Jefferson Davis.
