Snow in Fukuoka

This is what we woke up to this fine February morning.

We don't get a lot of it here, which is kind of a shame: Japanese roof tiled look great in the snow.

  1. Hi there!
If you should wonder, I added me joining your blog, as yesterday I was looking for Sagemon and Hina matsuri and found your blog with pictures from Yanagawa and thought it was so nice reading about it and then I saw that you now reside in Fukuoka.

I am from Sweden and my husband and I lived in Yanagawa in periods during the 70's that's why I thought it extra nice to read your blog.

When shopping or seing friends we went to Kurume or more often to Fukuoka which was and is a great city.

    Are you teaching in Fukuoka?

We were back twice in 2010 and it's wonderful, do enjoy your life there and I'll be back reading about your life!

  2. Hi, Aggie, thanks for coming by!

We teach in Fukuoka, but not English - we are at the international school. We have also found it a beautiful city. I wonder how much Yanagawa has changed since you were last here!

    Hope you enjoy the blog!
